1977

Birth of the brand

On April 28, 1977, the brand Nord'Ways is born. Mr Chareyre and his wife are putting together a collection of Norwegian-style ski clothing and a range of Scandinavian clogs, with an objective that has remained anchored in the values ​​of the family business: customer satisfaction. Perfect finishes and high-end materials reflect the brand image of Nord'Ways which means trends from the north.

FROM 1977 TO 1992

Nord'Ways asserts itself

Between leather clogs with wooden sole and chunky jacquard winter sweaters, authentic models like the Sam and Sveg of the Nord'Ways brand are all the rage in ski resorts. The incomparable robustness Nordic products reassure users of the brand and quickly we associate Nord'Ways with guaranteed quality.

1992

First capsule collection

The “Les Blancs” capsule collection see the day. A first range of working clogs which, at that time, met with tremendous success! Nord'Ways then made the choice to specialize in professional footwear for white trades. By offering a complete range, Nord'Ways becomes a must in the health and food professions.

FROM 1992 TO 2000

The deployment

Nord'Ways is well launched and continues to innovate by offering a range of professional footwear that goes diversify from year to year : new shapes, new and new trendy colors are appearing in the Nord'Ways collections. Health and safety standards are increasing during this period; the Drôme company takes sides and offers models adapted to different constraints.

2003

The first catalog

Communicating until then using brochures containing a selection of products, the first catalog presenting all of Nord'Ways' know-how came out of printing and was distributed throughout France that year. Communities appreciate this new tool which allows them to fit all their staff thanks to the wide choice of products.

2005

Need more space

In constant expansion, Nord'Ways decides to move its premises in order to increase its surface area and its working capacities. New offices, a growing team. Nord'Ways continues its increasing progression. These new buildings will thus allow us to increase our storage capacity and offer a unique delivery speed.

2009

The tour of France

Le grand tour of France. In order to be always closer to its customers and to offer an irreproachable service to guarantee an optimal satisfaction, Messrs Chareyre father and son have taken one year to visit each customer one by one. This year, rich in exchange, allowed the implementation of a solid business strategy based on customer satisfaction. Knowing its customers better and understanding their needs is the raison d'être of Nord'Ways.

2011

Logistics outsourcing

A big decision was made that year! In order to offer an ever more irreproachable service, the logistics are entrusted to an external service provider. This decision then makes it possible to guarantee a flawless delivery service, which will allow the Nord'Ways team to refocus on the essentials: client service.

2012

N2W® sole

An innovation was born that year! In partnership with an orthopedist, Nord'Ways creates a 100% feminine sole. The fact is, women's shoes are poorly represented in the world of work. This is why Nord'Ways has chosen to remedy this by creating the first safety and work shoe specifically adapted to female arch. The development of a wedge sole has enabled Nord'Ways to enter the professional women's footwear market with an exclusive product.

2013

Creation of the design lab

Developing ever more innovative models and staying close to the needs of our customers is an objective that we have set ourselves with the creation of our own design lab in 2013. The arrival of a new designer and the establishment of our own research laboratory allow us to refine our creations and offer shoes that adapt to their wearers and not the reverse ; We do not choose a Nord'Ways shoe by default but for the quality of the finishes and the comfort it provides.

NORDWAYS AT 40 TODAY

An air of renewal blows over the Nordic sounding brand. Our design lab is in full swing, our sales team is growing and improving day after day. The recent arrival ofa shoe expert for 35 years in our R&D laboratory confirms our desire to innovate and truly create the " shoe of tomorrow ".
