We thought that you would be interested in explaining to you in more detail how it went behind the phone at Nord'Ways. We took a tour of the offices and gathered as much information as possible to imagine the world of Nord'Ways for you.
Terry, you have been sales manager at Nord'Ways for a few months now, in a few words, how is the sales department at Nord'Ways organized?
At Nord'Ways, the sales department is made up of 3 very distinct poles with different missions.
The first pole: Customer follow-up
Customer follow-up's mission is to maintain good relations with our customers to ensure 100% satisfaction and be at their side in the development of their points of sale.
The second pole: Customer service
Customer service is the support for customer relations at Nord'Ways. The primary mission of customer service is to ensure that every customer has a fantastic experience with Nord'Ways! At customer service we have a smile on our face and it is essential for us to hang up the phone having satisfied our customers.
The last pole: Customer development
Customer development works in prescription with end users to help us better understand our market and allow us to improve our production. Our mission is to always provide more comfort through the fit.
What are the qualities of your sales team?
They are incredibly fantastic! We are linked by the Nord'Ways culture, a strong team spirit results from it, we all navigate towards a single goal: That any interaction with Nord'Ways be a great experience. Mutual aid and generosity are their great strengths.
What do you value most about your job?
What I tell myself every day that makes me happy is that I work to improve the quality of life of other workers. It is rewarding to do something for others. This allows me to enrich my knowledge and to learn to know the trades that we have to fit! Passionate about cooking, it is with the greatest of pleasure that I visit the great chefs of French gastronomy to find with them the 'little extra' of Nord'Ways shoes.
Who is your favorite model?
I have several but I will choose the Brice! It is a model that combines everything one would expect from a kitchen shoe, it is comfortable, it has excellent grip, it is robust and on top of that it has a really modern look. We have added 2 new models to the Brice range: The Camouflage Brice and the Italy Brice to bring a nice young touch to this model!
Aurélie, as a sedentary salesperson, can you tell us about your ideal day at Nord'Ways?
My ideal day is to achieve all the goals I set for myself. In other words, being able to provide a response to all of my clients' requests within the timeframe that I would have communicated to them.
What allows you to continuously improve the quality of service?
First of all, I think it is important to question yourself in order to always improve current processes. Constantly strive to do better, not stick to your positions and be in a perspective of constant positive evolution to always better satisfy customers; that's the Nord'Ways spirit! Always be faultless.
Who is your favorite model?
My favorite model is part of the new collection, it's the Laurie; women's safety basketball. It is modern, comfortable and feminine, it has it all! I can't wait to see it on our customers' displays.
Joseph, you joined the Nord'Ways team a few months ago, what can you tell us about Nord'Ways?
Nord'Ways it changes me a lot from my old job, because we are manufacturers! We represent ourselves to our customers, we do our own communication around OUR products. It is something that we control, we are not dependent on a supplier. There is a very strong corporate culture at Nord'Ways, we help each other a lot, we like to help each other and we are always there for each other within the team and for our customers. We are always looking to improve ourselves to best meet the needs and expectations of our customers.
Who is your favorite model and why?
What do you like the most about your job?
Like Aurélie, she is the Laurie model because it is really out of the ordinary and at the same time it blends in perfectly with current trends; The colors are modern and vibrant. I was eagerly awaiting the launch of the safety sneakers by Nord'Ways! It's done, and I'm betting a lot on this model; I feel that it will meet with great success!
What I like the most is that we are masters of what we sell. We defend our brand and our image as a manufacturer; We are not dependent on people. And that's what I like! Our shoes are US.
Jérôme, what is the part that you prefer in your field sales activity?
Visit customers to understand their issues and offer them innovative and technical solutions in terms of comfort, grip and robustness.
Which part of France do you prefer?
I would say that in terms of conviviality, the Mediterranean, Basque and Corsican coasts are the most welcoming. Regarding loyalty in business, my preference goes without question to the regions forming the economic arc crossing France. North - Paris- Rhône Valley.
What is the ideal shoe for you?
Those where we forget that they are at our feet! Or more simply Nord'Ways shoes 😉
