It is in the heart of Drôme in a famous three-star restaurant that we met in person the Chef of the test kitchen Tom MEYER.
Chef Meyer recently won 2nd place in the Team France Bocuse d'Or competition. He is now preparing for the competition for the best worker in France.
He began his career in apprenticeship and forged his experience by discovering the secrets of great starred restaurants: in the Burgundy region, within the Maison Lameloise (3 *), a true institution of French Gastronomy, featured in the very first Guide Michelin from 1900.
Then in Switzerland near Lausanne at the town hall of Crissier (3 *), an exceptional restaurant forged by more than 50 years in the service of high gastronomy with a cuisine of values.
After being inspired by different culinary practices during his career, put his bags in this famous Valentinois restaurant.
The keys to success according to him? Creativity to surprise, listening to always learn more and speed to satisfy customers.

TOM MEYER has agreed to test the NORDWAYS know-how by wearing the model BJORNSON during the qualifying event Team France of Bocuses d'or in which he participated.
The concept of this famous worldwide cooking competition is to bring together 24 young, more promising chefs of their generation and country, and ask them to prepare two dishes in 5 hours in public.
His choice fell on our new safety shoe for Food referred to as BJORNSON. What did you think of the BJORNSON model?
“The model tested is very aesthetic with a beautifully shaped hoof. The sole is a little hard at the beginning then becomes more comfortable after a few weeks ”
What is the ideal chef's shoe for you?
“An aesthetic shoe with a comfortable sole that absorbs shocks. "
How important is your work clothes and shoes?
